The thickness of the plate ice are adjustable within a range of 10-15mm to produce ice that are about 3-4 x 4-5 cm in size, irregular in shape, pure in color and luster, hard, transparent, dry and powder less. Due to its smaller surface area, it has better cold storage effect than other type of ice and can be applied to such fields as ice cold storage, air conditioners, edible ice, aquatic foods, chemical industry, skiing etc.
